The 2017 elections in Austria, Holland and France seem to have turned the tide for the European project. However, the European Union still faces multiple challenges and it seems that the politicians who voice the widespread discontent with the Union are bigger than ever. The EU is on a crossroads: should we be optimistic or sceptical about its future? It’s up to a new generation to exchange thoughts about their future of Europe.
On the 31st of May, the EUSA organizes a symposium about the future of Europe in cooperation with B.I.L. and BASIS. Three prominent speakers will provide their (geo-)political view on the future of Europe. Afterwards, there will be a discussion where you will get the chance to participate and share your thoughts on this subject.
Come and debate your Europe on the Spanish Steps at the Wijnhaven dependance of Leiden University from 19.00-21.00.
We hope to see you there!
Date and time: 31th of May, 19.00-21.00
